Master the Parasites

In the Message Paraphrase Bible, the sins that easily entangle us in Hebrews 12:1-2 are described as Parasites. As parasites can so negatively affect the health and function of the human body, so also sin can so negatively affect a person’s witness for the Lord. We must master the sin that would attempt to control us.
