Don’t Gloss Over is a play on the Greek word for Tongues “Glossa”. Some would say that the gifts of the Holy Spirit, including Tongues, are Over, in the sense that these manifestations of the Holy Spirit empowering believers were only for the Early Church. Yet, the purpose of Tongues, as God speaking to His people and His people speaking to God, have the same purpose now as when the gift of the Holy Spirit was given on the Day of Pentecost.

What do you do and why do you do it? Do you have the Ulterior Motives of seeking the approval and the applause of people, or are you motivated by God’s love.

When the noise of life drowns out God’s voice, it’s not always because He’s silent. This message invites us to examine what’s competing for our attention and calls us back to quiet prayer and a life led by the Holy Spirit.

Unforgiveness may feel justified, but it imprisons the one who holds it—while forgiveness releases the debt and restores freedom.
