There is most often a Gap between the Ideal of what we would like and the Real of the way things really are. Even God experiences this Gap between his will and what happens. This message deals with how to Deal with it when you find yourself standing in the Gap.

In light of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, I’ve been reflecting on the condition of our hearts toward the second commandment to love others, asking whether we hold the right perspective or one tainted by hatred because true love means recognizing that our battle is not against people but against evil forces, and through prayer, we fight for souls to come to know Christ.

In God’s completing work in us, He will test us in various ways to be certain that we can be trusted with the glory of God within us.

There are thoughts and ways of this world that are foreign – or like aliens to the ways of God. At times those thoughts invade our minds, like an alien invasion. But the Bible describes followers of Jesus as aliens in this world. We ought to be invading the world’s ways as ambassadors of God’s Kingdom and having an impact in the various areas of the world in which God has placed us.

A worldly perspective says this is what I’ve done or what others say of me, therefore that must be who I am, but a Godly perspective says this is how God sees me, therefore this is who I am.”
