When considering the choices that we make, we must consider the long term delayed gratification. We should be like Moses who CHOSE to suffer the oppression of his people Israel, rather than the riches of Egypt, because he saw great rewards ahead. God has given us His Spirit and His Word, so we can know the rewards that await us.
Every moment of every day we are making choices that determine, not only the outcome of our day, but the outcome of our life. God has given you the power to choose and He will never take that away from you.
This sermon is about developing an unwavering faith in God, not just for what He can do, but for who He is. It’s about saying, “Even if things don’t go my way, I will still trust God.”
Freedom from worry doesn’t mean life is free of challenges — it means doing what we can and entrusting the rest to God.
