Life-long residents of the Dodge Center area, Roger and Melanie Langworthy were called into the pastoral ministry in 1986. Prior to that they farmed for 7 years in the Claremont area. In the midst of farming the Lord called Roger into the ministry and he began to prepare through Christian International University accredited correspondence school. At the same time he worked in an associate pastor role together with a pastor in Owatonna, MN. In 1986 they started Praise Fellowship Church with a core group of people that had a vision for a Spirit-filled Word-of-Faith church in the Dodge Center area. In 2011, Melanie became the Administrator of Praise Fellowship Church Bible School, a satellite school of AFCMITC. Roger and Melanie are ordained through the Association of Faith Churches and Ministries (AFCM).

Israel Walters attended PFC all his life along with his entire family (he has 8 siblings). He was called to become a pastor and choose to attend Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, OK.
Maleca Walters is from Guyana, South America and felt the call to lead others to Christ and choose to study at Rhema Bible College. God had a wonderful plan and the two met, married, and moved back to Israel's home church .  They have a daughter and another baby on the way. Both are avid readers and love to talk about Jesus anytime they get a chance.
